Our Team

Our Story

CHROMATIC was founded as a web design company by Matt Jurmann in 2006. It has since grown into a five person team of Drupal experts, distributed across Illinois. We may be small in number, but our team covers an expansive array of skillsets; consultants, module developers, themers, site builders, and SEO professionals. We’ve even got a pilot!

What is Drupal?

Drupal is a content management system. Why do we build everything with it? We believe in the open-source community. Thanks to this worldwide community, Drupal is extremely powerful, flexible, scalable, secure, and fast. Using thousands of freely available modules (plug and play features), we can build exactly what our client needs. When those don’t quite do the trick, we start writing modules of our own. By doing our best to contribute those custom modules back to the community, we’re helping countless others in the future. With constant contributions made by others like us, Drupal consistently improves and remains secure. Beautiful, isn’t it?

The Drupal Association is an organization dedicated to helping the open-source Drupal CMS project flourish. We help the Drupal community with funding, infrastructure, education, promotion, distribution and online collaboration at Drupal.org. Funds to support these programs, and the Association staff come from memberships, supporting partners, sponsorships, donations, and volunteers.
