The new redesign is definitely a huge step up. Very well designed, usability is a hell of a lot better.

I may just write a follow-up post comparing the old site to the new site. I’ll wait until it’s launched though.

Chris, I agree that Eye Tracking theories are important, too. If we added another thing to this list, Eye Tracking and heat map testing would be on it. These are all the basic things that one should pay attention to, though.

We’ll follow-up in the future with a post on Eye Tracking and heat map testing. Thanks for the suggestion.

I would like to see some more debate regarding Eye Tracking theories in designing Landing or Call to Action web pages.
The theory has been tested to death but it does actually work.

James, glad you found the post useful. I agree, not enough people are using A/B or multivariate testing. Shame really. Lots of wasted money.
